Mazureth Development is the design and development company owned and operated by software engineer Jesse Mazur. Our staff and network of ninjas is comprised of Orlando's finest designers and programmers. With our wide array of available services, no job is to large or small.
Jesse began writing computer programs at the ripe age of 12 years old. At the time, his programs were simple algorithms usually written in basic or Qbasic with the occasional batch file in C to protect the contents of his precious 3.5" loppies. When he reached ninth grade, Jesse decided to take programming more seriously began taking every programming course the school offered. The language offered was C++. Four years and countless programs later, Jesse was accepted to the University of Florida's computer engineering program.
His first year in the program was filled with all the classes he wanted to take: Java, C++, etc. and he thought he was on the right track. However, in his sophomore year, while taking calculus II and physics II, it occurred to Jesse that the math he was learning was relative to writing computer games. He never had the desire to create games, software was always his forte. Needless to say, Jesse changed my major and took as many programming electives as he could until he graduated.
Jesse has also recently begun working on his master's of software engineering at the prestigious Brandeis University. He am currently on the OOP track taking classes such as J2EE, C++, ASP and others. He am filling my elective with relevant courses to Mazureth Development's services such as Unix Programming, Linux Administration, TCP/IP, and many more. Jesse will finish the program in the spring of 2011 and hopes his newly acquired knowledge will drastically expand the services Mazureth Development can provide.
For the first few years after college Jesse was able to make a living as a freelance web developer. He created a wide array of sites from the most basic information sites to shopping carts that could handle multiple currencies. A few years of inconsistent work led to the conclusions that a permanent position would suit his needs much better.
After working for a few companies he landed the senior software engineer position for writer/philosopher Mike Dooley. The work he did for Mike quickly became the most creative and sophisticated work he had ever completed. He constructed everything from content management systems to e-card system, even a fully integrated social networking engine affectionately called the village. At this point Jesse decided he wanted to write something bigger, something significant, something that could be widely used by everyone, everywhere, all the time. Something that would serve an actual purpose. Enter Wasp OS.
Jesse began writing the kernel for Wasp OS in the late summer of 2008 with high hopes. At the time, it was the biggest project he have even been a part of and he truly felt it would gain much notoriety as a standard amongst many web based applications. Wasp OS is a web based operating system designed for *nix servers. While it is still very early in its developmental stages, Wasp OS has the potential to make some serious headway in the online world.
